Report: Fabio Paratici tipped to pull off a masterclass by signing amazing Chelsea target on a free transfer

According to FcInterNews (via Sport Witness), Tottenham could make an attempt to sign Inter Milan star Milan Škriniar.

According to the report, the Serie A club plans to meet with the 27-year- old’s entourage between the end of September and the beginning of October to discuss his contract renewal. His current contract expires in less than a year.

The club’s management wants to offer the defender a contract worth €5.5 million net per year, plus €1 million in bonuses. This might not be enough, given that PSG, who wanted him in the summer, offered him a salary of €7.5 million per year plus €1.5 million in bonuses.

The Ligue 1 champions remain interested in the Slovakia international and have prepared a €30 million bid to lure him away from the San Siro in the winter market. If PSG makes an offer, the Nerazzurri must decide whether to sell him.

If the centre-back and Inter fail to reach an agreement on a contract extension and he remains in Milan after January, Tottenham will re-enter the picture. Spurs are named in the report and the Italian club are ‘told to watch out for the Premier League temptation’.

Tottenham are reportedly considering making a ‘convenient’ investment to sign the Inter star next summer, when he will be a free agent. This will be a very typical Fabio Paratici plan, something which he practised very frequently at Juventus.

The report also mentions Chelsea as another club who is interested in signing him. With so many factors still in play, it’s said that ‘the game is wide open, and the ending is not so obvious’, suggesting that the player’s future will remain uncertain.
