Report claims that Brazilian ace is likely to sign for one of three clubs and Tottenham is among them

By Bruce Grove -

Philippe Coutinho has been linked with a move back to the Premier League, and Tottenham is one of the teams that he might join.

This is according to Spanish paper, Sports, which claims that the Brazilian is likely to be heading to the Premier League now that the season is over.

The former Liverpool man has been unsettled since he left the English top-flight in 2018, and he looks set to return where he has had his best seasons.

The report adds that Tottenham, Leicester City and Arsenal are all looking to land him, but the Lilywhites are one of the favourites to get him since they and Leicester have already qualified for the Europa League while Arsenal has to win the FA Cup to achieve that.

The Brazilian is no longer wanted at the Camp Nou and his agent, Kia Joorabchian, has been working on a transfer back to England, he is quoted at saying, per Sport:

“We are looking to see if any opportunity arises in the Premier, where he has already triumphed.”

The attacking midfielder will be made available for a loan fee of 20 million euros and any team looking to loan him must pay his full 10million euros annual salary.

Isn’t his agent KIm Kardashian?
If that’s the one apparently rather than turn us down he is looking forward to playing alongside 2 of his heroes (Winks & Sissoko)

Coutinho has already turned us down even in a loan deal. We’re becoming known as a low paid, dead end outfit that never wins anything, we just live in a nice house. But behind the fancy façade it’s all one big myth.

If Jose gets some good quality additions such as full back/s, DM etc maybe he won’t have to play such negative football…he said at half time at CP all that mattered was retaining the score…thats fine, however next season he needs to show theres more to this squad than waiting for the opposition to decide the tempo and hope they cant score..
