‘Remember this…’: Presenter thinks Tottenham man will end up at Manchester City

By Saikat -

Australian manager Ange Postecoglou was appointed as Tottenham Hotspur manager at the start of the season.

The 58-year-old has done quite well at his new club so far and his attacking approach has been a hit in the Premier League.

Tottenham’s free-flowing attacking football has been praised by fans and neutrals so far. The North London outfit are currently fifth in the league table, just six points adrift of the top spot.

Prior to their injury crisis, they were unbeaten in the league and Tottenham will be hoping to get back to that level in the coming weeks. They have a talented squad at their disposal and Postecoglou’s tactics have worked out well for them so far.

The Australian will be hoping to have his key players back in action soon and there is no reason why Tottenham cannot return to the UEFA Champions League at the end of the season.

Presenter Michael Bridges believes that the Australian is likely to replace Pep Guardiola at Manchester City in the coming years.

“When Pep Guardiola decides time is enough at Man City, Ange Postecoglou will be the next Man City manager. Just remember that. Remember this for a year or two years’ time,” Bridges told Optus Sport.

The Spanish manager is undoubtedly one of the best of all time and he has done an exceptional job at Manchester City. The Premier League champions will likely look for a manager with a similar approach when Guardiola calls it a day.

The Tottenham manager could be an interesting choice for them and it remains to be seen how the situation develops.
