Real Madrid 100% Want Poch & Perez Will Wait Until Summer

By The Boy -

Speculation over Mauricio Pochettino’s future is rife and thanks to the cuckoo manner in which Tottenham has been run, matters are likely to only get worse.

A source close to the club has confirmed to the Harry Hotspur blog that the possibility of Poch quitting next August are ‘very high’.

Just as the the news that Mauricio was deeply unhappy was all too sadly accurate, the media speculation is not borne out of some peculiar malice.

Real President Perez is currently prepared to wait until the summer, but that situation could change if their temporary manager Solari were to stumble.

The Spurs coaching staff were left reeling after realising they were the only club in Europe’s top 5 leagues not to buy a solitary player.

The source advised that, ‘As the days turned into weeks it became obvious nothing was going to happen. Everyone was just confused…’

As a result, Poch has been left in a truly unenviable position.

The Argy’s squad is comprised of players who are fatigued after international duty that have not been effectively rested, players that previously expressed a desire to leave – but were prevented from doing so by being prohibitively priced and players that are simply not of the required standard.

As a final comment, this blog was also advised to pay close attention to not just Mauricio himself in pressers etc, but to any further comment from Guillem Balagué who remains extremely involved in the situation.

I’m not certain that Poch is ready for RM, tho’ he’d be given more time at Man U. The management job is different; RM/MU has a whole new level of mollyfying spoilt, overpaid twats who believe they are intrinsically worth the fees paid for them and wages to them, ” before” they’ve actually gone to work.

The Portuguese ponse suits RM more, Poch would backfill him and get that next level experience.

Having said that I think Poch IS committed and taking advantage of the situation to leverage contract renewals and maybe get a decent player or two in January.

The obvious stand out this tho’, is that our football manager is having to resort to what can only be seen as skulduggery, to get one past the club chairman in the pursuit of trying to remain successful.

If Levy doesn’t back Poch in January (Which I don’t believe he will AT ALL) then the writing is on the wall.

Jose will be off to Real come the summer leaving Poch to step in at Old traffod. Gary Neville is clearly fuelled by his wish 9and Sir Alex) to have Poch go and sort out the mess that is Man Utd at the moment.

Leaving a vacancy at Spurs for most likely someone who’s ambitious to make the step up and therefore work under financial constraints.

Could be a Eddie Howe or Chris Houghton or another Poch style inspired punt.

One things for sure, without squad investment and the top four then we will drop by the wayside with the Europa League our only realistic target.

Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd & Arsenal will outspend us out of the top four every year.

The thread on the silk purse thats been woven over the last few seasons has worn thin.

I think Poch will go in the summer because he will not be able to believe any promises Levy might make about bringing in new blood (fool me twice shame on me). It is becoming clear that he was expecting reinforcements and was surprised that Levy was prepared to so blatantly mislead him. The only saving grace would be a couple of quality signings in January, but the chances of that are slim as the drip feed of bad news about stadium debt continues and will probably result in a number closer to 700m than 600m when all is said and done. There is also the problem of Levy’s meddling in transfer business where he won’t sanction the payment of going rates for talent with a relatively high chance of success, preferring instead his own risky gambits that more often than not prove little better than the players they were supposed to displace. So even if money does magically become available it likely won’t be spent on players Poch wants and he will find himself once again having to put lipstick on pigs.

Poch to RM: Thank you for the offer Mr. Perez but I must respectfully decline for your club is not the right fit for me. My way is about developing young players and moulding them to fit my philosophy. For me the game is not all about trophies. You can keep your money, I get much more of a kick from seeing a young player grow and eventually going on to play for Hull City’

And the world is flat.

Fair play to Rob White (son of Legend) on the Spurs Show to call out ENIC for lying….they got shut down after a few minutes as you could tell it was getting heated…
I get we have to pay the debt to build nice things, I struggle with why we had to build a 1b pound stadium when the likes of atletico madrid built one for 250m Euro’s….

Apparently Everton are building a 100m pound training centre along with a few others so it will become the norm…we keep getting compared to Spurs of the 90’s saying look where we are…..Look where Bournemouth are FFS….the money comes flooding in and well run football clubs can do well…16k a week is it Bournemouth get through the gates??

I agree, Poch without constraints could be amazing, however, some managers are built to handle superstars, some are built to develop players and get the most out of them. Sadly I think Poch is the latter. Ideal for clubs like us and Southampton but will struggle at Real. Lets see though, I doubt it will be a long wait to see him leave. If anything, I think it will be long before the summer, depends on January, but knowing Levy, he will spend peanuts in January because (Delete excuse as appropriate) 1) No-one available, 2) why back a manager that is leaving

Levy will never admit money not there, and excuse 2 above will be used and actually force Poch to look for options long before summer. Add dropping to Europa, and struggling to keep up with top 4. Funny how managers are not cup tied…

All managers get the sack eventually. When you look at some of the managers that have been sacked several times and are now in work it hasn’t diminished their job prospects. I’m certain potch will remain in situ till the end of the season and then consider his options.
I’m quite sure there will be a managerial merry go round then and some pretty good jobs will become available for which I’m sure he will be considered.
If potch does go levy will really be up shit creek.

It’s difficult to judge a man until he’s been given the right tools.

I’ve been doing a fair bit of archery recently.
I wasn’t very good using modern recurve bows with sights, firing at conventional targets. I’ve since jogged on to hunting bows and shooting instinctively (both eyes open and no sights) aiming at neoprene animals in a forest and am now tipped for glory on the world stage (slight exaggeration).

Poch needs to win – he’s not going to that with Levy wrapped round him.

Not doubting your ITK, but I am honestly shocked his future lies at Real, I would expect United. that said, I am not shocked he would go. I think his career will drop off a cliff at Real, they will not suffer “time” to win things, and they will also not tolerate just winning (Hence Jose short tenure). Real want to win, they want to win well and they want to do it by using only the best players in the world. FYI – Poch goes to Real, Kane follows and possibly Ericksson. What would seal this for me is if Toby goes to Real in January.

The dumb dumbs will say that balague is just stirring. It doesn’t suit their narrative. Reality is this has been brewing since he made the addition to the book, now poch has started making odd comments, compared to his usual mantra of the party line, and when this whole house of cards collapses as is inevitable, there’s gonna be one rodent to blame. And anyone who thinks differently remember this. That piece of shit awarded himself a 3m bonus /payrise for who knows what. Success? Must have been out that day, don’t remember it. A ground? 🤣🤣🤣🤣. He’s fucked that club and I despise the rat
