Quite What José + Tanguy Equals Remains To Be Seen [Video]
By Joe Fish -

Speaking to the media this week before the trip to Watford, Jose Mourinho was asked if Tanguy Ndombele was feeling frustrated at the injuries that have plagued him since his arrival at Tottenham Hotspur last summer.

The Portuguese scoffed in disbelief. Why would Ndombele be frustrated? Mourinho is clearly the victim of this situation, in his own eyes at least, denied the chance to pick the Frenchman for the last three matches.

Mourinho seems to have no sympathy for the 23-year-old, nor any intent to protect one of his players. It is not the first time that he has shown public disappointment with Ndombele and it suggests an uneasy relationship between the two, which is of a growing concern to some Spurs supporters.

  1. A bad relationship with the gaffer is no different from a career ending injury – get rid whilst he still has value, and before he gets one.

If he is really injured Jose is a turd, but I worry this is a sturridge type situation where ever niggle is treated like potential career ender. I do think that if we were top 4 trying to win something tangible then Ndombele may well have played a few more games. Why risk yourself for a blowout year, only people that can’t see it as those still paying some of the highest ticket prices in Europe to watch.
