Pundit reckons that Man Utd would love to have what Spurs have

Graeme Souness claims that what Tottenham has in their attack is what Manchester United are looking for and the Red Devils would sell their souls to have such an effective front three.

Tottenham has become one of the strongest teams in the Premier League this season after they recruited well to add the likes of Gareth Bale and Carlos Vinicius to their team.

The former Liverpool midfielder reckons that Tottenham will get back into the top four with the help of Gareth Bale and their other attacking players.

Souness claims that while Tottenham might not put in a title challenge, the Lilywhites now has a team that can take points off the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.

He didn’t think that Bale alone will make that happen, but the Welshman has made their attack much better.

He then added that United would sell their soul to have Spur’s attack.

“After several consecutive seasons of top-four finishes, expectations will have been toned down a little following last season’s sixth-place finish,” Souness told The Times.

“With Bale on board, though, I believe that Spurs can catapult themselves back to a Champions League spot.

“I’m not saying they will be title contenders but they can take points off the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United.

“The reason for that is not down to Bale alone but because of the combined potency of their front three.

“Bale, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min — this is an attack that deserves to be bracketed alongside Sadio Mané, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino at Liverpool, as well as whoever Barcelona or Real Madrid put out in those forward positions.

“Manchester United would sell their souls to have such an effective strike-force.”
