Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been linked with a move away from the London club at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old has a contract with Spurs until the summer of 2024 and the Londoners could consider a potential sale if he refuses to renew his deal in the coming months.
According to a report from the Telegraph, club chairman Daniel Levy is willing to let the player move abroad at the end of the season. However, if a Premier League club is looking to sign the England international, they will have to pay £100 million for him.
It remains to be seen whether any English club is willing to pay that kind of money for Kane in the summer.
The 29-year-old is one of the best players in the world and he would be an impressive addition to most teams. Kane has been in superb form this season scoring 15 goals in the Premier League. He has been linked to the move away from Tottenham in recent seasons as well. The likes of Manchester City and Bayern Munich have tried to sign him in recent seasons but Spurs managed to hold on to him eventually.
Apparently, Kane would only stay at Tottenham if they manage to win a trophy this season or secure Champions League qualification. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few weeks.
Tottenham are struggling at the moment they will need to turn their season around if they want to finish in the top four.
Meanwhile, the future of manager Antonio Conte is uncertain as well and the Italian will be a free agent in the summer. His departure could seriously force Kane to consider his long-term future at the London club.
The England international is at the peak of his career right now and he will feel that he needs to join a club capable of winning trophies.
