Praise continues to pour in for Son after a blistering start to the season

90mins has praised Heung-Min Son for his impressive impact at Tottenham as the South Korean emerges from being considered overrated to being underrated this season.

Son has been in fine form for Spurs with 8 goals already this season and his partnership with Harry Kane is one that will likely earn Tottenham a trophy soon.

The South Korean has been an ever-present in the Tottenham line up since he made his move to the club in 2015.

He has been a steady influence while Kane has been relied upon to score most of the goals, but Son has now become of immense help to the injury-prone England captain.

The report claims that Son has certainly provided a helping hand to Kane in the goalscoring department at Spurs as he is considered a second striker for the team at times.

It also adds that Son is hardworking, driven and determined. Here is an excerpt from the article:

“The Korean has reduced Harry Kane’s goalscoring burden to a large extent, providing Spurs with the option of a second striker at times. He is not only about hard work, drive and determination, though. He’s certainly tireless, yes, but he also has a real quality on the ball and a football brain to see and make things happen. Not only is he an extremely clinical finisher, but he also has the presence of mind to create chances, not to mention his pace.”

One cannot argue with that assessment at all, Son is a huge talent, one of the best in the world and hopefully the club will extend his contract sooner rather than later.
