Postecoglou already winning over Spurs staff and players by rectifying Conte mistake

Newly appointed Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou is already winning over the staff and players at the club.

According to a report from Daily Mail, the former Celtic manager has made a big change to Tottenham’s training schedule.

Apparently, former manager Antonio Conte had an approach where there was no schedule presented to the players with regard to training and the training times for the following day was decided the night before.

This resulted in the players and staff being unable to spend time with their family and friends by planning ahead.

Postecoglou’s change in approach will certainly please the Tottenham players and staff ahead of the new season.

In addition to that, the Australian manager’s footballing approach is likely to impress the fans as well. The former Celtic manager prefers an aggressive approach and his attacking football will be a welcome addition for Tottenham, especially after the spells of Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte who were heavily criticised for their negative approach.

The Australian’s approach was a huge hit at Celtic and he helped them win back to back league titles.

Tottenham had a dismal campaign last year and they missed out on Champions League qualification. Postecoglou will be expected to guide them back into the top four next season.

He has already pulled off the signings of Guglielmo Vicario and James Maddison so far. It remains to be seen whether he can strengthen his squad adequately this summer and get them back into the Champions League next season.
