Poch Could Be Facing Some Awkward Questions Over Kane At Full Time

By The Boy -

The Seagulls have some fight about them

Brighton have gone two goals down in their last two Premier League games but avoided defeat both times. No team has ever done this in three consecutive games before, with Leicester in September 2015 the last side to do it twice.

Spurs are going to have to pick themselves up after the defeat in Italy.

“I don’t know if we deserved to lose this game. The mood wasn’t good in the dressing room but now we have to think about all the competitions and think to win the next game which is always the most important. Saturday we have another big game”, Lamela told Calciomercato.com.

All Spurs eyes will be on Harry Kane and should the Russia 2018 Golden Boot winner fail to score at the Amex today, Mauricio is going have to field some awkward questions.

Brighton striker Glenn Murray has scored four goals in his five Premier League games this season, including three in two at the Amex Stadium. However, he’s never scored in four Premier League appearances against Tottenham.

Murray is joint second in the Premier League goal scorers’ top ten, a list Kane doesn’t feature in.

It might be an idea for Poch to work out a Plan B that is little more sophisticated than subbing an exhausted Harry off in the last 15 minutes of the game.

Is Kaneinho feeling his 25 years?

Because the 34 year old Glenn Murray isn’t!
