Player Ratings vs Norwich| High marks all round, bar two players who barely earned 5s

Norwich looked quite useful for a while, but the gulf in both construction and the finishing between themselves and Tottenham ruled that the visitors would never really stand much of a chance. Dean Smith’s lads had a few opportunities, but they really didn’t know what to do with them.

HUGO 7 only had one save as such to make, and otherwise had little to contend with

SANCHEZ 7 got his goal, but this was another decent performance all round from the Colombian, although Norwich’s attacks were modest, Davinson came out on top in respect of his duels, as well as making more successful tackles than any other Spurs player (4).

DAVIES 6 doesn’t fill me with much confidence when in offensive positions, but Conte has certainly added a spark to the Welshman’s game.

DIER‘s 6 passing wasn’t too precise on occasion, but this was another generally sound performance.

SKIPP 7 has another influential game, and thanks to Conte, Tottenham produced plenty of attacking third passes – of which Oliver made 13. Nobody on the park recovered the ball more times than the former Canaries loanee.

HOJBJERG 6 had a relatively decent game but won just one of his 5 attempted ground duels.

MOURA 8 made 3 successful take-ons, made 16 successful attacking third passes, not to mention creating 3 chances; in addition to scoring one hell of a goal.

SONNY‘s 7 goal was inspirational, and the South Korean also created 3 chances for Spurs. The boy’s crossing was hit-and-miss, with 3 of his 6 attempts coming good.

KANE 5 still looks as lost as lost can be. The only discipline the England captain excelled in was committing fouls (3). Harry’s value as a striker these days must be plummeting.

SESSEGNON 5 had a largely uneventful 68 minutes.

We’ll take you through the numbers in greater detail in the morning.
