Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil has been linked with a move away from the club in recent weeks.
The 22-year-old has struggled for regular game time this season and he has started just twice in the Premier League. He needs to play regularly in order to continue his development and moving away from Tottenham could be ideal for him.
The winger is highly rated across Europe and he cannot afford to sit on the bench at Tottenham at this stage of his career.
Italian club Lazio are reportedly keen on signing the winger and there is interest from other clubs as well. According to Corriere Dello Sport, Gil could leave Tottenham ‘at any moment’ and he has ‘requests’ from other Premier League clubs as well.
It will be interesting to see if the 22-year-old decides to continue in English football. It seems that a loan could be on the cards this month.
If he can impress during his loan spell over the next few months, the Spanish winger might be able to secure a permanent exit from Tottenham at the end of the season. It is evident that he does not have a future at the London club and he needs to sort out his long-term future and focus on his football.
He was regarded as one of the finest young attacking talents in European football when he joined the Premier League club, but the transfer has clearly not worked out. He has struggled to adapt to English football and a return to his homeland could be ideal for him.
