Plausible Spurs XI vs Palace

Let’s get a few things straight. Spurs have won 60% of their last 20 home league games and Crystal Palace have lost 45% of their last 20 away league games.

Palace are pants. They have considerable form, beyond this season, for being pants.

The only talent or ingenuity they’ve ever shown is the ability to swerve the relegation zone.

That said, should one seek to make a judgement upon a snapshot, then the form guide favours the Eagles. So Spurs will have to have their Banana Skins Radar switched to ’11’.

Referee: Craig Pawson. Assistants: Ian Hussin, Richard West. Fourth official: Michael Salisbury. VAR: Jonathan Moss. Assistant VAR: Eddie Smart.

Spurs have scored 2 goals or more in 9 of their last 20 home games, whereas Crystal Palace have conceded at least 2 goals in 11 of their last 20 away games.

Palace is a team that Tottenham fans really need to see thumped. The Eagles are currently 4th, whose success nosebleed is largely down to having beaten the troubled Manchester United and the Premier League ballast that is Aston Villa.

Yeah but we did lose to Newcastle and Palace better than the barcodes! They will be dangerous

Joking aside I can’t see them beating us.

Hugo kicks it to Andros, Andros kicks it to goal. He’ll make couple fine saves after that though to get us a point

I think he means they’re unproven as a midfield pair.

No wonder NDombele gets injured, seems like he’s got to do the
job of two blokes!!

I don’t think we need Sissoko in this game. He’s better against sides where he has some space to run into. We need Winks and Eriksen and NDombele – they can all pass.

Not sure we’ll line up exactly like that, especially with Tanguy and his twin brother Tanguy.

Reckon Dele and KWP could even start with Eriksen with Dier involved at some point too.

The defence (apart from right-back) picks itself,

Palace are a bit rubbish, only zaha can be real danger.. Hodgson has sorted them out defensively though, they will sit behind thr ball 9 or 10 men and counter us. Alot of teams have success with this recently.. Would be great to have toby and jan starting.. And thank fuck ndombeles back. This guy will become the real deal

I would go Sissoko, Ndombele, Eriksen, dele, son and Kane, with winks and Lamela and Moura getting a run, maybe on for Sissoko or a defender if need be.

Hmm I’d have to disagree on Palace being pants. They are a very well organised team in my opinion. They know how to defend and hit on the break. Zaha can create or score against any team. It’s a style we have consistently struggled against recently, and previously we have never thumped them it’s always been 1-0! If anything you could argue they have been hard done by against us in recent games too.
Away against the big teams is where they are best. They are the last team to win at the Emirates, Anfield, Old Trafford and the Etihad. That’s pedigree!

Have a feeling Dele will sneak into the side…..maybe in place
of one of the NDombeles

It’s OK..Don’t be confused…he is playing on the left sie of midfield and Ndombele is playing on the right side of midfield.

I like that image of Toby, he looks like a man that has a smile on his face knowing he can go for free and make a killing 😬

I would hope we can spank them… Then we lost to Newcastle. You say about them being 4th through grace of playing United and villa. We are 9th with 5 points and played 2 of the most likely teams to go down.

Stick Erik the viking in there instead of N’Dombele’s twin brother and we are good to go..
