Ange Postecoglou has been forced by injury and suspension to significantly shake the tactical box for today’s big match against Aston Villa.
This is an unenviable task, as the players he is now forced to call upon are those who for numerous reasons had been previously discounted from the Aussie’s plans. These are also the same players that have been proven to be utterly unreliable by several previous Tottenham managers.
At any well-run club, these players would have been let go many seasons ago and replaced by younger, better footballers.

Quite what type of game we witness today remains to be seen, but I think we can safely predict Ange is going to have a struggle on his hands to entertain.
