PHOTO: Antonio Conte receives surprise visitor at Tottenham training centre

Tottenham Hotspur are set to take on Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday evening and Antonio Conte was pictured taking his players through their paces on Saturday.

The Londoners are coming into this game on the back of a thrilling 3-2 victory over Bournemouth and Conte will be hoping that his players can show the same determination and fight against Liverpool at the weekend.

While most of the Tottenham players were pictured in training earlier, there was a surprise visitor at the Tottenham Hotspur training centre.

Club director Fabio Paratici was spotted with Antonio Conte, and the two were seen engaging in a chat during the training session.

Paratici’s reason for attending the training session is unknown but it can be assumed that he might be discussing potential January transfer plans with the manager.

Tottenham have been linked with a number of players in recent weeks and it will be interesting to see whether they decide to dip into the transfer window to reinforce the squad midway through the season.

They are currently third in the league table and a couple of quality additions could help them sustain the title challenge.

Meanwhile, Swedish winger Dejan Kulusevski was spotted back in training, and his return will come as a huge boost for the London club as they gear up for the high-octane clash against Liverpool.

Our owners are pathetic little cheap-skaters who are sh*t scared of winning anything because it would pressure them to spend more to kick on. I’m convinced of this, con men (and women and LBGTQ+ peoples)…

I keep thinking about Rebrov when anyone mentions Ukrainian players. Russians and Ukrainians don’t generally fare that well in the PL. Kanchelskis is the only one who had a sustained career in the English top fight I think…

Correct, I guess some would say that Richarlison and Bissouma are ‘proven’ in the PL but the level of quality is certainly in question. Bissouma looks very much out of his depth, and Richarlison look like a lower level backup for the front three. He’s on the bench if Kane Sonny and Kulusevski are fit.

Richarlison has scored two goals in 13 matches since joining, and not a single one in the PL…

It never is. 8th richest club on the planet yet do everything related to on-pitch matters on the cheap. It’s pathetic.

Of course they are because they know he is going to be a great player and someone will pay the price but it won’t be us

Speaking of Ukrainians, we should buy Mudryk who is going to be a superstar but of course we won’t

If Maguire goes to Qatar insteqd of Tarkowski it will be a travesty.I just wish we had bought him from Burnley, because he wasn’t expensive.
