Personal Terms Agreed As Levy Now Sets About Thrashing Out The Right Price

By The Boy -

Tottenham’s new managing director Fabio Paritici is thought to be very keen on Bologna defender Takehiro Tomiyasu, and the Mail Online say that personal terms have been agreed. This is a positive as we have naturally arrived at the point in the show where the penny-pinching kicks in, with Spurs supreme thought to be reluctant to pay more than £15.5million while Bologna is thought to be holding out for nearer the £17.2million mark.

I take a view that the sooner this can get wrapped up, the better, looking at the defender’s stats it appears obvious that this is a very well-drilled and highly competent lad who would be a blessing in the Lilywhite.

The constant inability to get the squad finalized and all singing from the same song sheet happens virtually every season as Levy works to the notion that the transfer window closure date is the last date and therefore the most crucial. I cannot think of one single occasion when this tactic has benefitted the football team.

I think this will complete soon Paratici will tell him what works/doesn’t in Italy.
(yes of course if the bald gnome listens is another matter).

I see Pep not willing to pay the asking price for Kane, but he had no problem shelling out $60m for Mahriz to sit on the bench, then turned around and Sign Ake for $40M. Levy will tell him to go pound sand.

Danny Rose was a great player. Went on to play for England and many fine performances a real fighter.

Potentially a good signing, is versatile and will have a good attitude hailing from Japan, him with Joe and Ben is a possible back three or slot in a four as a RB.

Spot on comment. We are handicapped by Levy and Lewis every season.Audere est facere should be snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

For a man that professes to have the long term interests of THFC as his top priority, he has to be the most shortsighted, short-termist buffoon of a football club CEO imaginable, when it comes to the transfer market; and player value. FFS, that £2.5m could be chump change in comparison to the Far East marketing revenues the lad’s signature can help us further access. I mean, it’s not like he’s the first Asian we’ve ever signed.
He dicked around and dithered over the Grealish fee, thinking he could bleed a wounded animal for every last drop; and got his arse handed back to him. Anyone could see that Grealish would only increase in value. Joining Spurs then was still a sure fire way to get in the England set up, which always increases a player’s value. The deal was a no-brainer and should’ve been done and dusted as quickly and quietly as possible, but Levy just couldn’t help himself.
I was once quite happy to defend the guy, over the way things progressed from around 2004/2005, but it has been clear for some time now that he got lucky with Bale mk1; lucky with Kane; and lucky with Pochettino. Sadly though, he managed to take those strokes of luck and set fire to them all.

Levy is a real-estate man. His football dealings are pathetic and he doesn’t even seem to learn from his mistakes.

Normal people would remember the Grealish disaster where haggling over a couple of million meant we lost out. However, Levy isn’t normal & won’t remember how his stupidity made him look a fool. History repeating itself – they want 17, we’ll only pay 15, leaving the door open for someone else.

I will bow to anyones knowledge on this guy even Danny Google Rose as I know nothing on him. I suspect this is the calibre of player we will be buying this year. Nothing ever changes. Hopefully we can get him before nono gets sacked
