This campaign has been a tough one for Tottenham fans as their team struggles to break into the top four.
With Jose Mourinho at the helm and Harry Kane in top goal-scoring form, this campaign promised much at the start.
But it is now set to deliver almost nothing and it is one that Spurs’ fans will want to forget in a hurry.
The club allowed greed to overshadow their judgement when they involved themselves in the European Super League and that was hard to take.
Some fans have still not forgiven them and they have to go the extra mile to earn that forgiveness.
There are many ways to get some trust back and one of them is allowing fans to return to the stadium for free before this season ends.
Spurs will see up to 10,000 fans return to their stadium for one league game this season and Sun Sports says they will pay £60 to watch their May 19th game against Aston Villa.
While Spurs allow their greed and inconsideration to show itself yet again, the report says Burnley will allow almost 4,000 fans to return to Turf Moor for free in their game against Liverpool on the same night.
We all know that the club needs money, but can they for once pretend to care about their fans?
They do it fortnightly already, waste £300k/week on a certain amateur welsh golfer.
ENIC and care are not 2 words you can use in the same sentance.
T’was ever thus with Levy. He always spoilt the ship for a ha’porth of tar. God only knows how many transfers he blew for a few quid. Grealish springs to mind amongst a long list of others.
Probably Benfica wanted 3 million more than Levy offered. Same scenario with Bruno Fernandes.
I was minding my own business. That baleficent replies to my 600 large comment. I reply then I get the warning. Very fair. I’ll take the week off anyway
Tickets will be hard to get. I ain’t watched my team live for a long time. If someone was selling one I’d buy it. A tout
‘It is an NFL stadium’Mullally added: “It is an NFL stadium and that’s the key message. From the very start during the design phase, we have had the NFL in mind. The anchor tenant is Tottenham Hotspur, but this is designed to be a permanent home for the NFL outside the US. The NFL has been involved in the design process from the get-go.”
Can you get your head round this? It is quite normal for subsidiary companies to pay rent to the holding company.
There’s yards of this nonsense out there – sadly
Tappa, the business director of ENIC gave an interview and used that phrase.
Please stop or you’ll win a week off.
Are you related to Levy, or just being paid to back up the bald c**t?
Yep. Its all doom and gloom at Tottenham
Not interested in hashing this out for you. Your opinion of Levy and enic is completely the opposite of mine. At this time we have world record debt levels, a squad in tatters requiring almost total overhaul and the most unsuccessful period of on pitch success in my lifetime. Enough said.
Anchor Tennants. Oh yeah you want us to be that too. The Tottenham Hotspur stadium belongs to Tottenham Hotspur football club. Need proof? Ask the bank we owe all that money too.
I think some think ENIC own tottenhams stadium and we rent it off them😂
Oh yeah. Your the type that doesn’t want anything other than football at the stadium. Yet you want us to buy big players on big wages.
But I thought Jose was backed? 😂😂 Some will tell you but he signed NINE players – what reason do we have to believe they were his picks? I’ll allow Doherty (I think Mourinho said it himself that he wanted him), Reg and PEH…but we’ve already heard Stevie B wasn’t his choice and Bale wasn’t either in all likelihood. Leaving Rodon (probably viewed as a lowcost version of Dias), Hart (what was the point??) and Vinicius.
Oh and Gedson Fernandes, procured in a tragic accident when mistaken by Hitchen for that Sporting Lisbon guy now playing for Utd.
Levy knows best. He knew best when we had AVB, Poch and Jose – and all of them failed. He is a saboteur.
I’d pay a hundred even.
NFL CONCERTS RUGBY 100 BALL CRICKET will all be going on there when we are not using it. 39 events granted by Haringey council.
Brilliant. Arsenal (Islington council) won’t allow arsenal to do hardly anything🌚 N17. BUZZING
He’s a khant.
I don’t find any of that surprising. Levy falls out with all his managers. Levy bought Darren Bent without consulting Martin Jol, and then he found out he had been fired on the news at half time. When we had a chance to win the league under Redknapp and he asked for January reinforcements, Levy bought Saha and Nelsen. He didn’t back Poch, probably the best manager we have had since Keith Burkinshaw and now he has sacked a serial winner. I read yesterday in the Daily Express, that we had agreed personal terms with Ruben Dias of Benefica, and for reasons unknown, Levy decided against pursuing the deal, allowing him to sign for City. Incidentally, he was Mourinho’s top pick. Levy bought Rodon instead. He’s a man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing.
The long term strategy is all NFL and concerts so the anchor tenants and the mob that follow them don’t matter.
They have no concept of doing the right thing by the fans as they don’t matter a jot to enic. We are mugs that they can fleece forever.
That’s truly shocking. Clearly he hasn’t even learned from his mistakes.
Burnley showing how much they value their fans and how to run a football club.
They don’t care. There, that’s the article covered, and now some OT:
Just read some quotes by AVB, quite interesting. In his first year, we got a record points tally. In April of that year:
“I offered some names to buy and sell, but during the transfer window, the board didn’t listen and quickly destroyed everything we’d created.” (Referring to Bale’s departure and the “magnificent seven”)
Then PSG came in with an offer for him and he stayed “out of love for Tottenham”, expecting to be offered a renewal.
“I think that Daniel was willing to sell me to Paris Saint-Germain because my clause was £50million rather than renewing me. So we started the second year in bad animosity.”
Imagine having a coach who delivered the most points we had ever accrued in a PL season, ignoring his suggestions, selling his best player and then being angry with him for not leaving.
Awful, awful man.
The phrase you used was “pretend to care”. That sums it up.
There is no way Tottenham Hotspur will be writing off 600 large
I’d pay it all day long. I’m gagging to get back in there
