Transfer insider Paul O’Keefe believes Spurs signing a new striker this summer is possible but will depend on Richarlison’ sale.
Respected Spurs insider and correspondent Paul O’Keefe hinted at the possibility of Richarlison’s exit, particularly if there is interest from Saudi Pro League clubs.
Responding to a fan query on social media, O’Keefe suggested that Richarlison’s departure could be possible in such a scenario.
He shared on X:

This sentiment was echoed by former Lilywhites scout Bryan King, who indicated last month that Tottenham might entertain offers for their number 9, specially if they match the significant fee paid to sign him from Everton.
Levy open to selling Richarlison despite recent form
Despite Richarlison’s recent impressive form, which has seen him score 9 goals in his last 12 English Premier League appearances, bringing his total tally to 10 league goals for the season, questions linger over his future.
The Brazilian striker faced a challenging first season in North London following his move from Everton in July 2022 for a hefty fee of £60 million.
He struggled to find his footing, managing just one league goal in 27 appearances, leading to scrutiny over his inability to justify his substantial transfer fee.
And his form did not improve until only recently, after he underwent a surgery on a long-term pelvis issue.
Daniel Levy, Tottenham’s chairman, is reportedly open to entertaining offers from Saudi Pro League clubs for Richarlison’s services, should they express interest in signing the striker during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Spurs do intend to sign a top-class striker this summer as a proper replacement for Harry Kane and Levy might consider selling the Brazilian to raise funds for more signings.
As speculation continues to swirl, the coming months could see significant developments regarding Richarlison’s future and his potential departure from Tottenham.
