Outcast set to finally end Tottenham stay with move abroad

Danny Rose’s fall from grace at Tottenham is set to be complete as he closes in on a move to the Turkish side, Trabzonspor.

The 30-year-old fell out with Jose Mourinho last season and it cost him his place in the Tottenham squad.

He was told he could leave the club in the summer, and the Lilywhites backed up that decision by not registering him for competitive action in this campaign.

After spending the first half of the season training away from the first team, he now looks set to leave.

He is wanted by West Brom, but Talksport says he would rather move abroad and Turkey will be his next destination.

Trabzonspor has been tapping into the English market for some time now, and they already have Chelsea’s Lewis Baker and Stoke’s Benik Afobe on loan with them.

The report says they are offering the former Leeds United man a three-and-a-half-year deal.

They are confident that they will conclude talks with Tottenham before this transfer window closes.

Spurs considered buying out Rose’s final six months recently for £2.4million, but this move will offer them a better chance of getting rid of him.
