Ole Gunnar Solkjaer discussing Tottenham and this time it is positive

Ole Gunnar Solkjaer was a prolific striker in his playing days, even though he played mostly off the bench, and the Manchester United manager knows a good striker when he sees one.

Ahead of his side’s hosting of Tottenham at the weekend, the Norwegian manager has hailed Harry Kane as “one of the top strikers in the world”

Kane has been Tottenham’s most reliable striker for a better part of the last decade and the Englishman is still very effective in front of goal.

He scored a hattrick as Tottenham beat Maccabi Haifa in what should be the perfect preparation for the weekend game against United.

Solkjaer claims that the Englishman is one of the best in the world and that his team will be paying special attention to him when both teams meet in the Premier League this weekend.

He said as quoted by HITC: “I think every coach when you play against a team with the quality they have… with Harry Kane you prepare really well.

“Harry’s one of the top strikers in the world and you’re just happy he’s back fit after the injury he had last year.

“We’ll do our best to keep him quiet, we have a Harry back there who’s looking forward to playing against his international mate.”

It makes a change for Solskjaer to say something positive about Spurs, normally he is whining like a little girl, especially about Mourinho. Maybe he has realised that his pathetic mind games do not work when he comes up against a true genius of mind games and is trying a different ploy.
