Odds on Tottenham finishing in the top four continue to drop

Just a couple of weeks ago Tottenham’s season looked to be unravelling, just a single win in six games, dumped out of the FA Cup and falling away in the league, however, today things look a little rosier.

Three Premier League wins on the bounce and other results going their way have seen Spurs jump into the sixth position just two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

To some extent, it is still a false table with so many teams having games in hand, some more than others but right now, Spurs are within breathing distance of a Champions League spot.

Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea and Leicester City are still the favourites to occupy the top-four places and are all odds on, however, Tottenham comes in fifth in the betting with odds as low as 5/2.

To put that in some perspective, just a few weeks back Jose Mourinho’s men were a massive 8/1 and probably higher with some bookies.

Tottenham does remain slight outsiders at this moment in time but there is no denying that they are right back in the mix and when you look at the run-ins for some of the teams above us there is every reason to consider the lads in with a real chance now.

Providing they maintain their current momentum of course.
