Tottenham Hotspur are just one of many clubs rumoured to be interested in Palmeiras prodigy Endrick who is regarded as one of Brazil’s most promising young players.
Earlier this year, Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola claimed that the Spurs were interested in signing him. Meanwhile, according to BBC Sport, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City are all interested in signing Endrick, as are Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona, and Real Madrid.
However, according to the most recent update from Fabrizio Romano, only three teams are actively pursuing Endrick, and the Spurs are not one of them. He also claimed that one of those teams have now begun official talks with the player. He said on his YouTube channel:
“Now guys, we can say that Real Madrid are leading the race to sign Hendrick.”
“Because official negotiations have started with Palmeiras.
“So Real Madrid are in official talks with Palmeras over Hendrick’s transfer.
“The expectation of all the people involved in this story is for Endrick’s transfer to be completed within the end of December. So in the next weeks they hope to complete the transfer.
“All the clubs – Chelsea, PSG and Real Madrid – but Real Madrid are now leading the race. The player is open to discuss with them.”
This will not be the news Spurs fans would have liked to hear considering that their Brazilian star Richarlison has heaped praise of and likened him to Ronaldo.
He said:
“Trust me, I can say that Endrick is impressive, he’s very strong and talented.”
“He reminds me of Adriano. I watched him playing with Brasil and Palmeiras; I think in two years, he’ll arrive in Europe.”

Due to his age, the forward will be unable to join any European club until he turns 18. They could, however, reach an agreement with Palmeiras now and bring him over when he reaches that age.
