It’s Arsenal who will play host this time in the 169th league edition of the North London Derby, and after a dismal start to their Premier League campaign with three losses without scoring, they have recovered to win consecutive PL matches 1-0.
That means we could see the ‘Gunners’ record a hattrick of league wins ‘to nil’ for the first time since July 2020, a result boss Mikel Arteta would likely be delighted within this huge derby that’s clearly an early test of both teams’ ambitions.

Players to watch:Alexandre Lacazette will be ‘gunning’ to become the first Arsenal player to score in four consecutive home league fixtures against Spurs, whilst ‘one of their own’

The club is, i believe, is in crisis. When you look at the squad we have, Harry and Son apart what quality do we have? Our recruitment is abysmal based on cost parameters rather than need and ability and our world class academy spews out journeymen like Tanganga, Winks and with respect Skipp.
The paying fans are treated not only to mediocrity at best but also tedious football. Unless you enjoy the conviviality of going I cannot imagine a more dire prospect than going to the new destination.

I think it was three times over budget. In 2016 I seem to remember the figure for the stadium being 400 million and I thought, well, it’ll probably be 700 million then! And what was it in the end? 1.3 billion. A waste of money. And, let us not forget, a year late in delivery. He is an evil genius, though, because somehow he has managed to hoodwink the media and some of our fans into believing that he is doing a good job, in spite of winning just one league cup in 20 years and now seemingly steering the club back towards the place in the table we were in when this unfortunate adventure with the thoroughly useless ENIC began. Another hideous aspect to all this is that he’s the best paid CEO, despite his conspicuous lack of success on the pitch and having been in charge for the lions share of a record 30 year period for us without winning either the league title or the FA Cup.Unbelievable.
