Musical chairs? West Ham might yet play a key role in the exit of Giovani Lo Celso from Spurs

West Ham United have been linked with a move for the Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski.

The 28-year-old Polish international midfielder has established himself as an important player for the Italian club and Napoli are reportedly reluctant to sell him this summer.

However, the Hammers are keen on signing the player to strengthen their creative department.

If the Londoners manage to agree on a fee with Napoli for the midfielder, the Italians could look to replace him with Giovani Lo Celso.

The 26-year-old Tottenham midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Premier League club this summer and Napoli could be an interesting destination for him.

The Argentine playmaker needs to play regular first-team football in order to cement his place in the Argentine national squad for the upcoming World Cup.

It is evident that he is surplus to requirements at Tottenham and he is not a key part of Antonio Conte’s first team plans.

The report from CalcioNapoli24 states that ‘Tottenham is willing to let him leave’ on loan with an option to buy.

Lo Celso was on loan at Villarreal last season and he managed to impress with Unai Emery’s side. The Argentine helped the Spanish club finish in the top four and reach the semifinals of the Champions League.
