Mourinho Warns: Expect Spurs To Grow Into Remaining Games | video

By The Boy -

We’re in for a much welcome relief when the football comes back, and once this latest round of interminable meetings with the Premier League chiefs is completed we can set about the most important part of the business (kindly take note Mr. Levy) the ball being kicked about.

The most interesting part of this in-house chat with the gaffer is when Mourinho talks about the Bundesliga clubs growing into the games as they go along.

Don’t forget, all the clubs are in the same boat physically, and the sooner match fitness can be achieved the better. These early games will see players vulnerable to injury and the whole thing has to handled professionally.

Its not hard to stay fit.. The players should have kept themselves fit in their time off… Match sharpness is another thing, this can take a few games for some players.. We have to hit the ground running, sat in 8th with not many games left.

Can you imagine a scenario where free agent Willian has to score a penalty to secure CL football for Chelsea or miss it to secure CL football for his next club Spurs or Arsenal?

I am sure we will be as fit as anyone when it restarts.
Maybe he will have had time to explain to them how to defend your own goal as well.

Well no excuses now, aside from Troy Parrett we’ve got a full squad ready to go. Hopefully the players will respond and we can get back to our winning ways.
