Jose Mourinho has added his voice to the critics of the Premier League’s plan to show matches for £14.95.
The matches that originally would not have been shown on TV have been offered to the fans who may want to watch them at that additional cost.
This new plan has been slammed by fans and several pundits and Mourinho has become the latest individual to disapprove of the plan.
The Special One feels bad for the fans as they will be unable to watch their team play.
He claims that the fee is just too much for the games particularly because members of households cannot even meet now which would have seen families share the bill.
He, however, expressed hopes that fans will return to the stadium soon.
“£14 is a lot of money,” Mourinho said via the Standard. “You cannot even share with your friends as they cannot come to your house [in London]. It is difficult. I feel sorry for the fans. But hopefully this stops quickly and we can have some people in the stadium.”
Spurs will be taking on West Ham in the Premier League this weekend, and the Portuguese manager will hope to be able to get his team the win.
