Money Mechanics Of Lo Celso Deal Haven’t Phased Levy

Lo Celso began his professional career in 2014 at Rosario Central in Spain’s Superliga, when he was just 19-years of age.

The 2016/17 season saw a move to Paris Saint Germain. By the time the Argentinian loaned out to Real Betis, become an influential player, starting 33 times in his second season for Les Parisiens.

Giovani ‘s spell at Real Betis last season saw him score 15 times, which encouraged Real to exercise their option to buy, for a reported £20million.

The Sun amongst many have reported a somewhat protracted money chain behind the numbers.

PSG will get 20 percent of the fee, plus an undisclosed kickback upon add-on values.

In fact, Rosario Central, who sold the player to PSG for £8.5m in 2016 aren’t out of the frame entirely either, they hold a 3 percent interest in Giovani’s sell on fee from Betis.

What will be key to any move to Tottenham is the lad’e temperament – can he be relied upon to take the step up seriously?

This is the rather daunting unknown, although rumours had been circulating about Maurico Pochettino having been in contact with the 23-year-old.

Again, it has to be acknowledged that in the past, Daniel Levy has looked for any excuse to bail on a deal, yet the money mechanics of this one don’t appear to have phased him.

Rosario Central is in the Argentina PL.
My bet is Poch gave Levy a year and threatened to walk without investment.
Media is saying arse beat us to Cebellos, but i think we only wanted to buy not loan. They’ve walked away from Tierney. They will still freefall.
I’m feeling much better now.

The problem is it makes no sense to not have 2 play makers. We are suffering because Eriksen is our only play maker. And secondly, how long is it going to take a new signing to get up to speed with the system. In general adopting to the PL is a daunting task for foreign players let alone a guy that only has about 80 games under his belt. Although am a big fan of Dan Levy there are wages for quality players that fall into what Spurs can afford and be dragged them out then bailed. This is one of those deals that you do not give away the store for a kid that is just establishing himself and I think Levy did well to get the silly price down. Now that they sign Fekir Betis has no choice but to talk to The Levy.

The questions I would ask are if Lo Celso signs does that mean that Eriksen is going? In which case we are back to one in for one out, eg, Dembele for Ndombele, and we will strengthen in the other areas we need, wingbacks, central defence and a back up for Kane? I

If you looked at the very very smallprint it probably states that any sell on is subject to a 10% tax free bung to an off shore account . Sorry correction offshore a c nt

This is my theory, feel free to shoot me down in a ball of flames !!: If he buys Lo celso, then i think he has seen what ‘Could’ be achieved when we reached the CL Final, and that translates into hundreds more millions in the coffers. So, he has an ulterior motive, but most of us do not care as long as he is buying players of quality.. Good lord !!!!!!!!!!!

Is this our Daniel Levy we’re talking about here? Buying multiple good players in a window, seems out of character, have the boys been around his mansion for a little chat? Has Pooch threatened to walk if he’s not finally backed? Has the CL final found a tiny bit of emotion in the robotic little runt?

My “intrigue” here is this season seems to have kicked Levy up the arse. I am wondering if Poch said last season “I will tow party line for 1yr, but after that back me or I go” or perhaps Levy is ACTUALLY a man of his word and that once the stadium was built he would be able to invest? Either way, something un-nerving about all this.

that said…this lad is still only the 2nd purchase for a side that has not bought in over a year, still lacking depth (and some first team) in key positions.
