Micky Hazard Makes A Case For Whom He Believes Could Well Be Spurs’ Next Manager |video

By The Boy -

Former Spurs player Micky Hazard believes that Ryan Mason could well end up being a permanent appointment at Hotspur Way, which might be an ambitious claim, but if Daniel Levy is looking to take a few days off from setting fire to fivers, then Mason would fit the bill.

Additionally, it’s not a slight, but young Ryan is way over his pay-grade here and would make for a wonderfully pliant and biddable character to follow our chairman’s every whim.

My only concern would be that many of the current squad let down Pochettino and then let down Mourinho. So hoe long might it take before fault is found with Mason? At a rough guess, not long.

And Jose never contributed to this record? If you keep referring to the past there is no future.

Agree re Bergy. I like Ndom technically but if we need money to re-build I would sell.

At some point aren’t managers supposed to actually manage and improve what they have?

Bergy came in and looked great. Been forced to play out of position a lot and has lost confidence. He could still be a quality player.

You think and who is the buyer? He will be busy sorting out ESL and then getting new manager then how to keep Kane Son then next thing you know window will be short to sell or buy last minute bargain 1 or 2 players in places of Rose who is out of contract and may be Lamela if Italians come for him window is shut then will be another transition period January window and you know we don’t buy or sell in January so see you next summer window 2022 welcome to Spurs the home of process and project the usual never ending roundabout cheers.

Those 10-11, or a majority of them, can still be moved on in the summer.

Potter not a bad shout play easy on eye football. If Brighton had even an Ings andAdams duo they would be half decent. Potter lacks a decent striker

Bringing Mourinho in, was cheaper than rebuilding the squad.

Sacking Mourinho was again cheaper than rebuilding the squad.

Any success, Mourinho would’ve insisted funds be made available to rebuild. Levy couldn’t gamble on us winning on Sunday nor could he gamble on a potential top 4 finish. With Kane injured no Mourinho and a rookie manager he’s weighed the odds in his favour.

The new manager will be told, sell to buy or make use of what you’ve got.

Think it’s clear why Real Madrid haven’t withdrawn, the contract was for 23 years and the clubs signed a guarantee they would not withdraw in the first three years.

Real Madrid and the clubs that didn’t pull out are going to sue the leavers for breach of contract and loss of monies.

All in one hit? I’m keeping bergy. First full season. Good dog worker. Very good in the tackle. Quick. Only 23. Good squad player. He’ll get better a lot better he will. Not for sale. Ndom&celly 100% staying

That is basically why Mourinho had been sacked either him or those 10-11 players and Levy chose 1st option.

I’d probably persevere with both Alli and Winks but sell Dier.
Alternatively simply cash in on the lot plus Lorris et al and constructing a new defence buy Sam Johnstone for starters and go from there!

To reiterate, I don’t believe Ryan is being considered for the job on a full-time basis, I don’t even think there are any real expectations from Levy to achieve a particular target, of course we have a cup final and a top 4 possible finish, but would he put such pressure on a complete novice, I can’t see it.

Harry only can keep Harry to be honest I think Kane can only go to Man United cause the Spanish duo they are almost bankrupt and even if they can afford to buy they probably will go younger striker ie Haaland or Mbappe can’t see spending all that money for 28 years old and Guardiola already ruled out city there you go it is either Man U or he stays till he retires that is my opinion.

No we talking about against Rb Leipzig where Mourinho lost 4-0 total in both legs home and away the 2nd time it happened to Mourinho’s career the 1st being when he was Madrid and he lost to Dortmund 4:1, nothing to do with Poch we talking about Jose’s career only.

There you go then. He couldn’t have picked a worse place to come. Levy is the cause of all our failures. Gross lack of investment in the squad for years now. It’s about time he realised that he and enic are the problem and it doesn’t matter who the manager is.

Well the one of the biggest spending managers in history teaming up with the tightest chairman in history was never going to end well was it? Some of us saw it coming. Not to mention the style of football he played. What on earth was Levy thinking? He couldn’t see beyond the amazon documentary being a short sighted little twerp.

Trouble is, aside from Kane all these “talented youngsters” never seem to amount to much do they? Lower half PL players or C-ship players most of them.

Rodgers wants nothing to do with Spurs and I can’r say I blame him. Anyway why leave a side that were recently PL champions for a bunch of over inflated losers.

It would be astounding, even by ENICs standards to give the job full time to a young retired ex player with no experience whatsoever.

This is what WHL was demolished for. All the best season ticket holders…..if youre ever allowed in again. What a f##$%#g scam.

Here are 10 points that Tottenham tarnished Mourinho’s records
1-Mourinho fails to deliver trophy for the 1st time in his career
2-Most defeats in league campaign
3-Most defeats in a season
4-Most PL points lost from winning position
5-Most goals conceded after 80 minutes
6-Zero shots on target vs Bournemouth
7-Lowest ever points total after 50 league games
8-Joint heaviest champions league defeat
9-1st home loss to Man United
10-1st time conceding 5 goals since 2015
Spurs is the place were managers records are broken last one Jose.

I’d take him over Allegri and Rodgers. Don’t really see the difference between appointing a 33 year old with experience at 2 German clubs and not winning anything to appointing a 29 year old with 20 years worth of experience and history at Spurs, who understands how we as fans want the team to play and has the respect of the players.

I don’t get why we think he’ll be pliant just because he’s young? When I was 29 I was plenty opinionated and a real pain in the arse for my managers; from my experience, young ones are just as likely to be a challenge because they haven’t yet had the enthusiasm and idealism bashed out of them.

Andrew

Not for me. Purely a stop gap appointment until one of Allegri/Rodgers/Nagelsmann can be appointed. I wouldn’t say no to Parker or Potter either.

I actually think giving it to Mason is not a bad idea. Him being inexperienced is far better than the overly experienced cautious approach of some. I think Mason gets the players and will hold/know similar desires to how the players want to play. I think this also the case of how they want to be treated.

The other point for me is I think is knowledge and connection with youth set up is key. We have a lot of talented youngsters in a squad and would love to see more being integrated.

I think it would also lower the expectation of us fans and would create an all round better atmosphere.
