The return of Gareth Bale was always going to be one of those drum roll moments, where some jury members were still out, after all, itâs been a while, heâs not getting any younger and the Welshman is a tad injury prone.
Judging by these clips, there really wasnât very much worth worrying about. Unless youâre going to have to play against this absolute beast in the immediate future.
I discuss Baleâs âlimitationsâ in my latest showâŠ
Or if his topknot came undone?
Or with a pulled hamstring?
The quality of some of those finishes was superb. That said, there were no defenders and it was Joe Hart.
Watching bale banging’m in at Hotspur way and the first thing I thought was shouldn’t he be sharpening up his right foot.
Bales gotta be the best player in the world, why? Coz he can defend too. Messi and ronaldo can’t.
Limitations? TeeHee, not.
The answer is yes, he regularly did it as a one man team for Rednapp and AVB.
That’s because he is insanely good.
That’s all very well but can he do it on a wet and windy night in Turf Moore
