“Maybe” Harry Kane makes an admission about his home life

An interview on the French television channel Canal+ with Harry Kane was picked up by Korean JoongAng Daily. Essentially, the England captain admitted that he was spending more time with team-mate Heung Min-Son than he was with his own wife at the moment.

“Maybe,” Kane said. “She hasn’t said anything, but I’m sure she could be. I probably spend more time with Son than I do with my wife at the moment, to be honest.

This is all very cosy, but it looks increasingly unlikely that the most prolific goal-scoring partnership in Premier League history will secure Champions League football this season. Add to this, this will be another season where Tottenham Hotspur has failed to win any silverware.

Personally, I’d prefer fewer of the jolly japes type interviews with players and more stuff along the lines of ‘Harry, at what point did you say to yourself that flying back and forth to the United States a few days before a game was a good idea, but more importantly, who at the club sanctioned the jaunt?’

Tottenham has six more games to play before they’ve seen another season out.

Was Sonny at the Masters too? Maybe he doesn’t play golf, but I doubt it because it would make him the only Korean that doesn’t love golf.

I don’t have a problem with Harry going to watch some golf and eat some pimento cheese sandwiches. This isn’t Russia, he can do what he wants on his 2 days off as far as I’m concerned.

The real question is whose VIP tickets did Harry use? Fenway Sports Group, Silver Lake Capital, the Glazers or Kroenke Sports and Entertainment?

Considering Utd are away to Liverpool tomorrow, Arsenal away to Chelsea on Wednesday and then its Arsenal v Utd early on Saturday there is a big possibility that the time we k.o v Brentford we will still be above both by either goal difference or even better, if they draw, by two points. Though of course whether we turn up after that is anyones guess!

Increasingly unlikely! One defeat in five is the best record of the three, with a ten goal better goal difference. We’d have taken that in February.

See you don’t mention Royal which seems slightly odd – are you one of his few fans?

I have no issue with Kane going to watch the golf, but he could have taken Dier and Winks and left them in a bunker around Amen corner.
