Lunacy Comes Back To Bite Baldy On The Bottom

By The Boy -

Dele Alli could be out for weeks

The hamstring injury that sidelined the midfielder whilst on recent international duties has flared up again and this time the prognosis is far worse.

The Daily Mail are citing the end of October as a possible return.

Being out for the best part of a month is not going to aid Mauricio Pochettino’s chances of getting the Lilywhites back on track, after awkward losses in both the Premier and Champions Leagues.

October brings with it games against Barcelona, West Ham, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City – these are not fixture of the same low calibre as Brighton and Huddersfield.

Talk of ENIC’s “world class facilities” won’t spare Tottenham’s blushes if they were found to be all fur coat and no knickers this season.

Whining about the unjust hand of fate in regard of injuries will garner little sympathy with those that acknowledged that being the ONLY side in Europe’s top 5 leagues not to buy anyone into recent transfer window was sheer lunacy.

You cannot have it both ways and reel out this hour about ‘doing things a different way’ and then get caught out half a dozen games later.

Stadium botched because the Levy attempted and failed to take shortcuts.

Noe its the starting XI’s turn to feel the failure burn.

Highest paid chairman in the league.

Nice work if you can get it.
