London rivals looking at a raid on Tottenham after new signing

Fulham is preparing to launch a bid for Tottenham’s Paulo Gazzaniga as they bolster their team, reports The Telegraph.

The Premier League new boys are looking to add experienced Premier League players to their team this summer and Gazzaniga, who played more than 20 games in the Premier League and Champions League last season fits the bill.

The Argentinean has been the second choice at Tottenham since he joined them from Southampton under Mauricio Pochettino.

However, the Lilywhites have just secured the signing of Joe Hart and the former England number one might push him further down the pecking order.

The report claims that Scott Parker wants to recruit the Argentina international so that he can compete for the number one jersey at Craven Cottage with Marek Rodak and Marcus Bettinelli.

Tottenham have had a busy summer after signing Hart and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

They are expected to make even more signings before the transfer window closes.

They will not only be making new signings, but the club is also expected to sell some of their current stars, and Gazzaniga might just become one player that leaves them.

It remains unclear how much Spurs will demand from his sale or if Jose Mourinho will be open to selling him despite landing Hart.
