Watched again, this Giovani Lo Celso strike was a goal from nowhere. Sure, it was “only” Middlesbrough, but this boy is fast on his feet.
It could be an optical illusion, because the Argentinian is playing alongside Winks and Eriksen, but Giovanni looks to be carving out a role for himself at Tottenham. There’s a determination about his play, a refusal to use the reverse gear that is bound to endear him to fans.
