“It’s shameful that Lo Celso can’t do that” Argentine blasted for this one big thing

Tottenham insider, John Wenham is shocked and unimpressed by a recent revelation that Giovani Lo Celso hardly finishes matches for Tottenham.

The Argentinian is one of the club’s most important players and arguably their most effective attacking midfielder at the moment.

He won the Copa America with Argentina in the summer to add to his CV.

He is yet to lead Tottenham to a major trophy, but all the managers that have been at the club since he joined have trusted him.

The midfielder is expected to play a key role in helping Tottenham become a top club in England again this season.

Wenham regularly posts breaking news about Tottenham on his Lilywhite Rose Twitter account and reacted to a recent revelation about Lo Celso.

Data from transfermarkt shows that the midfielder hardly plays a full game for Tottenham.

He was subbed off on 62 minutes against Wolves last night and it was also the same number of minutes he played against Chelsea and Wenham is unimpressed.

“Lo Celso went off and won the Copa America this summer,” He told Football Insider.

“He’s played at a high level before in other countries. He didn’t move directly from Argentina to England.

“He played for PSG and Real Betis and played at a fairly high level with both.

“He should be able to complete 90 minutes for Tottenham. There was a suggestion that under Mourinho the fitness levels dropped.

“Poch had players doing double sessions and hard workouts. Either way, there has been time now and our players should be able to play 90 minutes.

“It’s shameful that Lo Celso can’t do that. Look at Skipp, he played at Norwich last season and has come in and can play straight away.

“Why can some do it and some cant?”
