This is one of those awards where the format is reversed somewhat, and instead of lots of nominees and one winner, everyone involved gets to win.
Lorenzo Pellegrini to Tottenham could happen. Just like Spurs could theoretically resign Defoe.
However, so many outlets have deliberately chosen to ignore a rather unusual situation, whereby several source articles have admitted that the player is looking for leverage with his current club.

The Daily Star, HITC, plus many more usual suspects have all trotted out the tale of Arsenal and Spurs being interested in the 22 year old.
It’s alleged the Roma boys’ agent is in London. Perhaps he is. My best guess is that he’s currently planning his route by tube to Hamleys to pick up some gifts for his sister’s kids.
It’s in the public domain that Lorenzo is seeking a better deal back home.
Maybe Pellegrini will sign and his footballing brilliance will take us to another dimension. Or maybe he’ll stay in Italy.
