Levy wants to make very successful German manager the next Spurs boss

Daniel Levy is keen to make Hansi Flick the next Tottenham boss as he continues to search for a replacement for Jose Mourinho.

The German is leaving his role as the manager of Bayern Munich at the end of this season and he is being eyed by top teams.

He moved from an unknown quantity to help Bayern win the Bundesliga, German Cup, Champions League, European Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup last season.

He has retained the Bundesliga title in this campaign, but he and the Bavarians have agreed to part ways in the summer.

Spurs made Mourinho their last manager in 2019 and were hoping to build on reaching the final of the UCL in that year.

Despite his reputation for winning trophies, Mourinho failed to deliver and was fired about a month ago.

Spurs will want to keep naming top quality bosses for the role and Flick fits the bill.

The Telegraph says Levy is keen to make him his club’s next head coach, although the German is closer to becoming the next German national team manager.

He would only take over that role after Joachim Low has left and that means Spurs have enough time to convince him to take another role in club management.
