Levy tipped by one journalist to prefer to sell one superstar beneath market value than to a direct rival

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been linked with a move away from the club for a while now.

The 28-year-old England international was linked with Premier League giants Manchester City last summer but the Londoners managed to hold on to their star striker eventually.

It seems that the transfer links are set to continue this summer as well.

According to journalist Christian Falk, the England international striker is on Chelsea’s radar.

The player was recently linked with a move to Bayern Munich as well.

Falk tweeted earlier today that the 28-year-old is a ‘very interesting’ option for the Blues but they believe that Tottenham would rather sell him to a foreign club if he refuses to sign a contract extension with them.

The 28-year-old striker has a contract with Spurs until the summer of 2024 and it remains to be seen whether the Londoners can agree on a contract extension with him in the coming months.

Kane is one of the best players in world football right now and it is fair to assume that Spurs will do everything in their power to keep him at the club for as long as possible.

The 28-year-old scored 27 goals and picked up 10 assists across all competitions last season and he will be instrumental in Antonio Conte’s quest for silverware next season.

Chelsea have recently loaned Romelu Lukaku out to Inter Milan and the Blues are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements. Kane could be an outstanding acquisition for them but a transfer seems highly unlikely.

It was reported by Sky Sports earlier this summer that Chelsea have a £200 million transfer budget and it remains to be seen how the situation develops over the next few weeks.
