The press are ridiculously bad but Tottenham is the best circus in town right now. They are taking full
advantage. Don’t take the bait.
Regardless of all that Spurs continue to a be joke. That fiscally sound institution that Levy governs so well is having the fisc taken out if it on regular basis.
Levy can point the finger as much as he likes but all of this and I mean ALL of this is happening under his watch.

Tottenham needs a manager any manager to tab into the clubs philosophy and play (Tottenham way) which basically means the team have to look good at times but never win anything. Anyone who can fulfill this criteria is hired job done Mr Levy.
He’s right you know. I see ESPN already spouting Ten Hag rumours again!

The BBC say ‘….Tottenham went to Paulo Fonseca, who on Thursday morning thought the job was his despite tension with director of football Fabio Paratici about the playing style.’
Presumably painful viewing?!!, but probably as good a time as any to play the defending champions before they get into their relentless stride!!

Can we start a rumour that Joe Lewis is about to sack Levy for being totally incompetent? I bet Levy / the club would come out and quash that rumour quick-time if it got any traction.

Season not even started and they have switched Spurs first home game from Saturday to Sunday for Sky TV.
If you are a Levy apologist, then I think you need to take a long, hard look at yourself in the mirror.
By your refusal to criticize Levy and Enic in the past you are partly responsible for the mess we are in. Levy and Lewis have been able to full steam ahead towards the current iceberg largely because those fans have given them the green light. Shame on you.
They are very successful. They managed to sell all of the season tickets with nicely managed tales of Poch returning and Conte in advanced talks. Nobody cares enough to look beyond the nice shiny UFO on the high road and tastefully recycled bin bag football tips. The tills keep beeping, the clicks keep coming, and the poor zombies just wait for the next shiny distraction.
Appointing Parker or Potter will be the most literal statement of our demoted status but in theory no more than it would have been by appointing Fonz.
It’s now becoming apparent that ENIC views our financial status as warranting 2 steps backwards from where we were 3-4 yrs ago. This has perhaps all been an exercise in manipulating fans expectations, lowering the bar until such an appointment is almost a relief
No. We’ve got to stop this business of fawning all over ex players. We should hire a manager based on his ability NOT on the fact that he was once a Spurs player. Remember Hoddle and Ardilles? Also look at Mason and King, both great ex players, especially the latter, but not up to the job. King is our defensive coach and has overseen some of the worst Spurs defensive displays I have ever seen.
Bringing in a manager that has just led his club to relegation is not sending out the right message.
Surely the best candidate familiar with the surroundings of the club ideally suited to the role is my preferred choice Scotty Parker?!!

Yes I didn’t believe in the Gatusso rumours for a second. I actually read about him departing fiorentina and had a passing thought that he would enter in our rumour mill.
What is astounding is Spurs allowing the Plague of news stories to continuously dirty the waters.
Would it be too hard to put an announcement out that the manager search is ongoing and to please ignore the hogwash?
Ask Harry H he is very credible. Isn’t he?

This is a great idea

I thought Fonseca was a Paratici pick. Strange.
I see there is also the small matter of the NLD quickly on the horizon!!

He could be Alfie Noakes side kick David.
I feel sorry for the Iceberg.
Looking better by the day.

DNA = “Do Not Attend” Spurs games.
Maybe not but any kind of thought out succession plan would have prevented this shambles.
THIS is our DNA right now.

Perhaps but it’s not like that we are spoilt for choice!!
Big Sam is also available!!
You appear to be putting sentiment over his managerial record.
I’ve just said what.

What’s wrong with Scotty Parker??
Whittled down to a few unless I am mistaken popular Jurgen Klinsmann has already indicated he would accept the job.
