Interesting if true. There’s a phrase worth trademarking, like that American ring announcer’s ‘let’s get ready to rumble’ thing. One busy transfer window and you could probably afford to order a Dominos for at least 3 people.
As per most normal people, I’d not heard of William Saliba until last week or whenever it first began doing the rounds. This is an 18-year-old Saint-Etienne centre-back.
Arsenal had agreed a deal worth €30million, however our man Levy has apparently matched that, plus thrown in on top a package of bonuses and add-ons.
It is worth mentioning at this stage, that young William will be making his mind up whether to join a Champions League side or …a side that isn’t.
The suggestion with this kid is loan back for a season, which could potentially get him in the groove for replacing… mmmmn… he’d be 19.

Suspecting Levy has spiked any RM move for CE with an inflated cost to push CE to sign a new deal with a “gentleman’s agreement” to let him leave next year. Of course at that point he’ll no longer be in his last year of contract so a higher price can be justified!
This Saliba thing could work if the kids good, but could just as easily be us, trying to support the rumour that Toby is going to Roma with the prospect of a player in exchange meaning that Real Betis’ position on Lo Celso is not so strong and maybe they might blink…….
