Levy on the brink of agreeing first summer deal with Premier League side

The summer window at Tottenham could well be more an event than most of us thought this time a week ago, with the news that Tanguy Ndombele is out for the rest of the season, it is surely improbable that the Frenchman will remain at Tottenham in the long term. One doesn’t break club transfer records to secure a top talent, pay him £200,000 a week and then spend the following months trying to coax the odd game out of him.

One player who is not ‘troubled’ or ‘injured’ is Kyle Walker -Peters, and another is Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, both these boys are looking for certainty over their futures and Daniel Levy may well be the man to offer it. According to Duncan Wright for The Sun, a £10million move for KWP from North London to the south coast side is now thought to be imminent.

Ralph Hassenhutl is likely to want paying in full for Højbjerg, who was recently stripped of his captaincy, after refusing to commit his future to the Saints, so a £10million boost from the KWP move would be good timing.
