Levy Has Been Already Been Advised To Prioritize One Transfer Adjustment For Next Season

The next season at Spurs shaping up to be one of healing – at least that will be the narrative – opposed to the reality, which is that ENIC been exposed for precisely what they are. And again, the cost both financial and to the club’s reputation has been appalling.

A source close to the club understands that Steve Hitchen has advised that Oliver Skipp is returned to Tottenham for the start of next season’s campaign.

This is an essentially unsurprising development, but one that surely gives us another indication as to how close to the bone Tottenham will be again next season. Personally, I’d have wanted Skipp to complete his Norwich City experience and watch him play in the Premier League with the Canaries. This might strike some as ‘argumentative’ but Oliver will find life much tougher in the Premier League and everyone would get a much better impression when he faces it with the team that he’s become an integral part of.

Isn’t there a piece missing here like “Mourinho ponders Skipp return”.
Surely it is down to him & Dan.
He can advise all he wants but those 2 will do what they feel is best for the club whatever he advises.

Think of the logic used by Levy…. Pay £60 million for a player or bring back a loanee for nothing and gamble he’ll do well.

it’s well trodden path that we do things on the cheap. Skippy will be back in our shirt next season.

With this team? Are you feeling ok? 🤔

Too a while for us to find our feet there under Poch. Since then we have declined so much that I doubt it will make any difference.

He will play regularly in a settled role in the Premier League. He has to stay with them for another season.

Totally agree with you HH. Skippy should stay at Norwich next session playing every week except against us of course.

unless the toxic atmosphere changes, or the fans are let back in en masse we’d be wise to keep skipp away from it all

Yes, we’ve done the top four enough times already, lets get back to winning real trophies!

If Kane declared unfit perhaps Vinni is our secret Hurst!! -(referring to the 1966 World Cup Final when Hurst got the controversial nod over Greaves! – Mighty correct call!)

I think Skipp should stay put for a full season in the PL with Norwich.Better to get used to it with a well run club than come back to an outfit where it will be toxic at best.

I’d take winning the League Cup over finishing in the top 4 for sure!

At least Skippy will have been able to win a trophy during his Spurs career. Granted, it was at Norwich, but still.

ENIC has been so close to delivering a trophy. I mean they were only missing the space. They just delivered atrophy.

The scary thing is that we all know their 2nd 11 is still superior to us!

True but wanting to get one over Jose I am convinced the likes of Eddison,Walker, Mahrez, Foden, Silva will be on show! ITS A FINAL. Current holders of the TROPHY WHICH THEY ALWAYS WIN IS AT STAKE!!

Late to the show possibly repeating what others have said. Fortunate to be playing a weakened Man City side Chelsea were not just good but very good. Minus the likes of a Dier and Sissoko playing fluent free flowing football feeding on the intelligent runs of Werner and Ziach. Chelsea the better side in the first half and much better side in the second half fully deserved their win. No luck about it they won fair and square against an off colour City side today. Never unlike Spursy at no stage sensing an inevitable equaliser was coming, When Chelsea had to defend they defended resolutely withstanding pressure. Possessing a better squad of players than Jose at Spurs, good manager our Tuchel I like his style. Smarting from this defeat no doubt given his rivalry with Mourinho Guardiola will select a much stronger outfit for the League Cup Final with the big boys back in the team which smells danger!!

If poor Olly is thrust into this non existent midfield he could be irreversibly damaged. Sign permanent with Norwich son….
