GRAHAM POTTER’S SACK RACE ODDS has been slashed to record lows, according to bookies.
After watching his side suffer yet another defeat, the Chelsea boss is now just 2/1 in the Sack Race, having been 5/1 before kick-off on Thursday night.
It means he’s closed the gap on the long-time frontrunner, Frank Lampard, who is now 8/11 in the betting, while every other name is currently 8/1 or bigger.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Graham Potter needs nothing short of a miracle at this point, as far as his Chelsea career is concerned. Punters are growing increasingly convinced his Stamford Bridge days are already numbered.”
