Latest: Report claims Antonio Conte could ‘reunite’ with ‘monster’ of a striker in 2023

According to reports in Italy, Tottenham Hotspur could make a move for Romelu Lukaku next summer if Harry Kane joins Bayern Munich.

Inter have yet to decide whether to renew the loan in the summer of 2023, but according to the Italian daily Tuttosport (via Inside Futbol), Lukaku ‘could reunite’ with Antonio Conte at Tottenham next year.

This comes amid speculation about the future of star striker Harry Kane, who has yet to sign a new contract, with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich reportedly interested in signing the 29-year-old.

Spurs are now expected to make a move for Lukaku if the England international does not sign a new contract.

His 2021/2022 season at Chelsea was a flop, but Conte has gotten the most out of Lukaku in previous seasons, most notably during Inter’s title-winning season in 2020/21, when he racked up 24 goals and 11 assists.

Perhaps a move back to London rivals will be a motivating factor for the player who has previously been described as a ‘monster‘ by Mourinho.
