Tottenham Hotspur are concerned that Richarlison will be out for a month due to a hamstring injury.
He has been one of the stars of the world cup, scoring three goals and providing one assist for Brazil.
Richarlison scored twice in Brazil’s 2-0 win over Serbia in the opening group game. He then scored again against South Korea and assisted another in their 5-1 thrashing of teammate Son’s team in the last-16 stage.
Two of the three goals he scored have been goal of the tournament contenders.
He was taken off in the 84th minute in their quarter-final match against Croatia.
And according to Evening Standard, Richarlison had started the Croatia game despite suffering a hamstring injury in the warm-up.
He is now set to be sidelined for at least a month.
According to the report, the attacker was supposed to take a week off following the World Cup exit, but he returned to Tottenham on Monday for further assessment on the injury.
The report adds that the result of the scans are still awaited but Spurs fear he will not be playing again until New Year.
This comes as a huge blow for Conte. Spurs have been unlucky with injuries this season.
Kulusevskii has also had a season plagued with injuries so far having made just 12 appearances this season. He is on recovery from a hamstring problem and managed to play in the friendly against Motherwell.
Meanwhile, Bentancur who has perhaps been the most influential player for Spurs this campaign also suffered an injury and is said to be out for three weeks. He will be racing against time to be fit for the post Boxing day fixtures.
