Djed Spence is said to be reluctant on going on loan to Genoa, according to the latest from James Olley of ESPN.
There have been major strides towards an agreement with Genoa over the last 12 hours with Spurs now closing on a move for Radu Dragusin.
Spurs have offered a deal worth £25m which also includes Djed Spence going the other way on loan for the rest of the season.
And all that remains now is for the club to convince the young defender on a move to Italy.
As per James Olley, the player has shown initial reluctance towards a move to Genoa but talks are ongoing.

This is the latest and possibly the last hiccup in the deal.
Tottenham received a late scare from Bayern who expressed strong interest in the last 24 hours.
But they have not as yet put in an official bid which has worked in favour of Spurs.
If Spence can agree on a move to Genoa, Spurs will land Dragusin before the game against Manchester United.
