Journalist says Spurs could be ‘keeping a close eye’ on attacker Paratici ‘really likes’

Wolves winger Adama Traore has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur for weeks now.

The 26-year-old is surplus to requirements at Molineux and he is expected to depart before the transfer window closes. He was on loan at Barcelona during the second half of last season.

Spurs are reportedly looking to add to their attack before their window closes and they have been linked with the likes of Daniel James and Nicolo Zaniolo as well. It remains to be seen whether they can get a deal for Traore over the line in the next few days.

Traore has shown that he can be unplayable on his day and if Antonio Conte can help him improve his end product, he could be an interesting acquisition for the Londoners.

According to Alasdair Gold from Football London, the 26-year-old winger is a player Fabio Paratici ‘really likes’ and he wouldn’t be surprised if the Londoners are ‘keeping a close eye’ on Traore’s situation.

Traore would struggle for game time at Tottenham

Spurs are well stocked in the attacking department having signed Richarlison for big money earlier on in the summer. Traore would have to compete with the Brazilian and the in-form Dejan Kulusevski for a starting spot.

A player of his quality will want regular game time and that might not be possible at Spurs this season. It remains to be seen how the situation develops now.
