Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has been linked with a move away from the club following his recent outburst after the draw against Southampton.
The Italian manager questioned the commitment and attitude of his players after a 3-3 draw against Southampton in the Premier League.
The 53-year-old is expected to leave the club at the end of the season when his contract expires and there have been rumours that Tottenham could look to sack him prior to that.
While there is no doubt that Conte has improved Tottenham since his arrival, the Italian has been complaining about a number of issues since taking over at the London club.
Conte has bemoaned the lack of transfers, and his brutal assessment of the players from day one pushed everyone out of their comfort zone.
According to the Athletic, the Italian spotted a major problem at Tottenham on his first day at the club.
The report details that Conte spotted one player eating nachos on his first day at the club and he simply could not accept that. The Italian informed the staff about the dietary requirements and changes so that the players can be fitter on and off the pitch.
Conte is an extremely ambitious manager who has won trophies across multiple clubs. The Italian’s desperation to succeed has been evident since his move to Tottenham as well. However, it seems that the 53-year-old will have to leave the club without winning silverware.
