Jose Mourinho is not asking the club to pursue the January transfers of Marouane Fellaini, Edin Dzeko and Kalidou Koulibaly, according to the London Evening Standard.
Dan Kilpatrick of Standard Sport cites various sources linking Tottenham Hotspur with interest in the aforementioned trio, but it is his understanding those reports are wide of the mark.

This may not come as a surprise to most Spurs fans as the only believable target out of the three was Dzeko.
Boasting Premier League experience with Manchester City and a fine goalscoring record since moving to Italy, the Roma striker did appear to fit the bill as back-up to Harry Kane.
But it seems as though Mourinho is ready to give Troy Parrott a chance to make that role his own – starting against Bayern Munich tomorrow.
Koulibaly would be an incredible signing to lead a new-look defence but would be out of our reach. Speaking about Bruno Fernandes, who has a release clause of £85m, Mourinho said the Portuguese was a player “of a level and value that is not for us,”, according to the Daily Mail.
Napoli’s Koulibaly would likely cost at least that, if not more.
And then there is Fellaini. There was not much substance to the rumours that Mourinho would like to reunite with the former Manchester United midfielder, now playing in China, but it is nevertheless a relief to see them dismissed from a credible journalist.
As it stands, there is every indication that the Special One is happy to stick with the squad he has got until the summer.
😂 bit like ‘kickass’ the vigilante… Just get a decent costume and mask that covers face.. Fire man or flame kid 🔥 tarentinos ‘django unchained’ is good man youd enjoy if not seen yet. The slavers are punished in style.
On you tube theres hoddle scoring a 45 yrd screamer.. I never had the pleasure to see him play much but he was clearly great the goals jawdropping
Leeds going top. Get back to where you belong Leeds. And behave yourselves you “service crew
Is Byron Lee the private eye geezer?
I can live with Brydon Lee Mack show but nothing else.
Of the current crop that Rajganathan comic is quite funny.
Dandy Todsvik QI is merry
MTW is funny. Wouldn’t pay to see MacIntyre. Free ticket I’m there
Isn’t Mackintyre a Spurs supporter?. Come to think of it so is Ben Stokes a recent adopted spurs supporter.
I actually like MTK,because it is topical, but of course it is on too late for family viewing. However I wouldn’t give cup of cold sick for a front row seat to watch MacIntyre.
Curry and chips. Some big dogs were in that. Sykes& co. Spike (not Lee) played a browned up Pakistani guy. They couldn’t find a real one
Eurotrash!
It’s reduced to Mock the Week and the likes of Michael Mackintyre
But he’s a yank. Dave chappelle. Funniest man in the world right about now. But he’s a yank too. Oh yeah. Damn it😁
When you run through the list of comedy shows we had week in and week out,you have to feel sorry for the younger generations. But I guess they don’t know any differently.
Sensational Robin Williams – simply took over the Parkinson show

Lenny Henry. Mum there’s a black man on the telly😁. When empire road came on it was a treat
Jackie Mason now you are talking!!
Bernard Manning?😁 I liked Freddy star
Enjoyed Spitting image Not got access to Netflix but they say Harry Enfield’s Windsors is a funny satirical comedy.
Don’t disagree that in venues like that you can still find comedy. But it is not allowed to transfer to the MSM.
yes Alf Garnets Till Death us Do Part would not get a look in now.
Alf Garnet portrayed as a Spammers supporter actually supported Spurs.
If you wanna hear some politically incorrect comedy. The hackney empire. Nuff jokes. Everyone gets their fair share so no one can complain 😂
For the record my favourite comedian was Tommy Cooper had the audience in stitches.
The family watched all of those shows. The good life on a Sunday. I fancied the posh one. She made English sound like sexy french
The trouble is real comedy has been killed by political correctness. It’s almost impossible to make a joke about anything as some snowflake will demand to be offended.
Ha! Anthony Taylor is ref. Of course, get the job done right. In the same fixture a few weeks back Lyon were 5/1 to win at Leipzig and did 0-2. The favours returned. Absolute joke.
Dave Allen. WICKED
Perhaps it’s a generational thing but IMO the comedy of the Dave Allen, Morecambe & Wise, Steptoe and Son, Dads Army, Fools and Horses, Faulty Towers, Yes Minister at al were far superior to the current crop of comics I don’t find funny whatsoever!
As much as 100% cert as you could get that Lyon wouldn’t won at home tonight.
2nil. Another pen.
Lucrative business.
Rip jack&benny
John “Jackie” Wright b. Belfast left the show in 1983 owing to poor health. Five and a half years later, he died at the age of 83 in a Belfast hospital after battling a long, undisclosed illness. At the time of his death, Benny Hill remarked, “He was a lovely little fella… I’m saddened beyond words.”

What happen to his little bald mate?
Benny Hill never owned his own home in London, and instead preferred to rent a flat rather than buy one.[21] He rented a double-room apartment in the London district Queen’s Gate for 26 years until around 1986 when he moved to Fairwater House in Teddington. While looking for somewhere to live, he stayed at 22 Westrow Gardens in Southampton.[22] He also never owned a car, although he could drive.
Despite being a millionaire many times over, he continued with the frugal habits that he picked up from his parents, notably his father, such as buying cheap food at supermarkets, walking for miles rather than paying for a taxi unless someone picked up the tab for a limousine, and constantly patching and mending the same clothes even when the balance on his account at the Halifax Building Society reached seven figures.

Didn’t he die rich and live like he was poor?
Wouldn’t it be good if all the London clubs (except Millwall) were in the premier League. Tfl 😁
Well this natty Benny Hill song is best I could find!!!

The CL group that keeps on giving. Leipzig 1 up at Lyon already from VAR pen.
😁
IMO the role model PL side minus egos blessed by everybody from top to bottom singing from the same hymn sheet benefiting from some astute recruitment is Leicester City.
Unfortunately their keeper has let them down in the last 5 minutes, but this young Saltzburg side look very good on the eye.Exciting, technically gifted this is a team that cost comparitively little in today’s market.I doubt Levy is watching though.
Id like to see a video of the son goal to benny hill music
Yes,i hope so too but apart from Koulibaly that lot look like a harry redknapp shopping list
He would always be too expensive.
The players mentioned by Marbella were easily attainable if Levy could have been bothered.
Can get untold bird for arson.
Please read Eddie’s comments above. Our transfer committee is a myth, it doesn’t exist. I am not suggesting that we should have or could have bought all the players I listed, but they were out there. Instead Levy decided as is his wont, to play Football Manager and Head Scout rolled into one. He knows nothing about football recruitment. This is why we have had eleven managers during his tenure, of which ten were during his first ten years as CEO. This brilliance has resulted in one trophy.
100 years ago youd have been burning down every white middle to upper class family in england. It was the norm when legal… Now its illegal here slavery still exists.. In some third world countries its still rife….. Going back to spurs youre exactly right ‘but we never’…. ‘To dare was too dear’… Alot of fans are still angry and raw as this all happened clearly levys cashcow plan to milk extortionate amounts of money from the club, and at the teams expense… At this rate kane is wasted with us..
Man dem saying hoddle has never scored a better goal than sons one. I stayed out of it😁 I love glen
But we never. I wish I was around in slavery times to burn down the slave masters house with him in it. but I wasn’t
He can play. He seems older than 21. The young Turks love him
Fast food and restaurant centre too 😆 id rather wed have bought van dik, salah, wan bissaka, dybala.. I can have a nice burger in most places mate
Maureens way.. I am sure now there will be no more nokloudos or cards coming in…. Any money will be spent on quality world class players.. I sincerely hope so anyway 🤔
Not only does James Maddison stamp his authority on the midfield but unlike Eriksen he generally whips in a tasty corner as he did for Johnny Evans headed goal against Villa.
and yep Isco featured as he always does!!
When the penny eventually drops getting to the next level clearly means buying the likes of Koulibaly at the asking price!
Went past there on the bike earlier. The cockerel is still up there on the roof. Everything else has to work around the football No?
As HH will concur once I compiled a list of 50+ players we were supposedly linked to in the transfer window the best named being Eziquiel Ponce!!
Please read Steve KillerCushion Williams’s excellent comments below which explain precisely what I mean by anchor tenants. THFC does not own it’s own ground
They’ve got spurs bags babe😂😂
The grubs nice though 😊
😆 surely no fellaini or matic coming.. We already have better than those two bruisers
Take your lady to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium instead of Westfield’s to shop. She won’t be happy
With no shops?
Who dreams these stories up?
Dzeko would never come to us and play second fiddle to Kane.Koulibaly is way too expensive for Levy and Fellani I don’t want anywhere near us.He’s found his level in China.
Marbella Spur makes an excellent summary of good players we missed on for whatever reason and have gone on to prove to be very good players.
Such is the wonderful world of Levy.He knows best.
Our home was the lane but thats long gone… H has been calling it the ‘shopping centre’ because according to enic themselves thats exactly what it is..
Enic and whoever else are involved in the debt/finances will be getting the pay.. Aiden someone from enic made a statement telling us we were anchor tennants.. The Boy told us at the time so there will be an article or two on here about it….. “In retail, an ‘anchor tennant’, sometimes called an anchor store or key tennant, is a considerably larger tennant in a shopping mall, often a department store or retail chain. They are often offered steep discounts on long term rent in exchange for signing long term leases in order to provide steady cash flows for the mall owners”
Koulibaly is a beast. I don’t think defenders come into their prime until they are in their late 20’s, but his price is going to be close to van Dijk’s – way out of Levy’s range. A player I like almost as much is Demiral at Juventus, who is only 21 and apparently available for €30 mil. He is Soyuncu’s partner for Turkey and the same quality of defender. He is extremely physical, which is something we are sorely missing at the back (and in midfield).
Who wishes they knew Lewis Hamilton to blag a lift on his plane to Germany? The b team game is free entry then go watch Troy and the big boys score 8😁
Tennants in our own home? How does that work then? We pay ourselves rent?
I’m more worried about us signing falleni or what ever his name is
Didn’t levy cut his wages and back date it too? Who cares about players who don’t play for us. Thousands must’ve past us by. Can’t sign them all
Koulibaly is 28yrs old. Levy will not pay €80-90 mill for a player of that age, unproven in the PL. He is much more likely to be a target for Man City. It will be interesting to see if Levy’s transfer strategy changes with Mourinho at the helm, but I doubt it. You do not have to pay silly money for players if you have a good head of recruitment and an experienced scouting network. Look at Ajax’s recruitment policy.
I will list below a number of players we could have bought but our beloved chairman knew better by investing in the likes of Janssen, N’ Clueless and Clinton Cards etc.
Sadio Mane, went to Liverpool because we wouldn’t pay the wages. Harry Redknapp recommended we bought Maddison from Coventry for £350,000,but we decided to wait. He went to Norwich and we still had a chance but let him go to Leicester. We scouted David Brooks and Harry Maguire whilst they were both at Sheffield United and the latter whilst at Hull. Tielemans at Anderlecht and then again at Monaco. Ricardo Pereira at Porto and Nice but Leicester moved quicker. Any of these players could have been signed without significant cost and at reasonable wages, suiting our business model, but our august and much beloved chairman was unable or unwilling or indecisive to pull the trigger. Never mind, happy readers, he enjoyed a hefty bonus for his inspired leadership. Meanwhile we remain anchor tenants.
A seasoned strike partner for Troy and Kane to train with (don’t expect any big games mate) you’re welcome to come help out for a bit though. Oh don’t expect big wages either😁
I would hope the comment on Fernandes was more value to quality related than “level and cost” to imply he is too good for us and too expensive. I would say Koulibaly does not fit into the overpriced category quite so much, so could be an outside bet that he is not off our radar. I am hoping Jose will not let Levy get away with his old tricks, but I fear it may take at least 2 windows before he gets called on it.
