Journalist list three Man United players Tottenham can pursue after Erik ten Hag’s hiring

Tottenham Hotspur will be in the market upgrading various positions this summer and Football.London’s Rob Guest writes that the north London club should be looking at Manchester United to pick some talented players that might need a change of scenery.

Furthermore, with the hiring of Erik ten Hag, Spurs could have some of these players as they might not feature in the Dutch manager’s plans heading into the 2022-23 season.

The goalkeeping position isn’t a need now, but in a couple of years Tottenham will need to land a successor to Hugo Lloris and Guest suggests why not go after Dean Henderson, who’s 25-years-old and will be 27 when Lloris’ deal expires.

Another player that Spurs can pursue without paying a transfer fee is Jesse Lingard, whose contract expires in June and showed last year with West Ham United that he can be a crucial contributor to a squad.

Finally, Tottenham could buy Marcus Rashford as the 24-year-old might consider a change of scenery. Manager Antonio Conte could be the guy that can get the most out of the England international, especially if he has hopes of being part of the Three Lions squad at the World Cup later this year.

Rashford’s contract is up in 2023, and if ten Hag doesn’t view him as part of his future at Old Trafford, he might be on the market.
