Gareth Bale’s agent, Jonathan Barnett has spoken to Goal.com claiming that the Welshman’s relationship with Spurs gaffer José Mourinho is sound, but were it for meddling journalists and that fact that the team as a whole has been struggling.
In the same interview, Mr. Barnett effectively rules out Zinedine Zidane being interested in his 31-year-old client playing for Real Madrid again.
I take a view that Bale is fixated with his own fragility and this, combined with his advancing years has left what once was an incredibly gifted player looking close to finished. No amount of game minutes is going to turn back the clock.
Bale’s salary is crippling, and it’s not an unfair comment to suggest that some team-mates might be wondering what exactly happened to the salary structure at Tottenham, given the poor return.
As for the recent Instagram post, all I would add is this; the account wasn’t hacked.
Bale is a busted fkush and can’t be bothered to put enough effort in.If Levy is such a master negotiator,how come there is no return clause in his loan arrangement.His vanity tripped him up there.It would be interesting to know how many shirts were sold too.

Barnett often said that Bale wouldn’t return to Tottenham & how I wish that were true. I’m amazed that anyone thought Bale would be a good investment but even I’m surprised at how little effort he’s making. Levy ought to be paying his wages out of his own pocket but therein lies the rub: Levy wanted him back, allegedly not Jose & the same with Alli, DL doesn’t want to sell him but Jose doesn’t want to play him!
Employ a manager to buy & sell to improve the team, don’t tell him who he can & cannot buy/sell.
Barnett is in damage limitation mode as Bale’s career hurtles down bank at an alarming rate.
If both Zizu and Jose label him as trouble he might struggle to get anymore takers.
